The

UNBOUND

Project

Speedpainter Jessica Haas created a project that is breaking barriers with the power of art. As an overcomer of poverty, Jessica uses her story and her passion for art to make a difference.

As an overcomer of poverty, Jessica has a deep passion for helping at-risk youth. Jessica is the founder of The Unbound Project, an empowerment project that seeks to free at-risk girls from poverty, which was awarded national recognition from the Miss America Organizatin in 2014 for being chosen the best community service project in the state of Tennessee.

Jessica founded Unbound in 2013 and built it based out of her mentoring experience with the children she worked closely with as a spokesperon for the U.S. Dream Academy. The Unbound Project is an ever growing collection of free portriats for children who are unable to afford them combined with "Life Resumes" for each child, which are resumes compiled from each child's situation painted in a positive and qualifying light rather than negaive or victimizing. Seeing the positive domino effect The Unbound Project has already had, Jessica's desire is that this project continues to grow to provide resources, creates awareness, and restores hope to the under privileged youth in our nation.
